PORCELAIN TILE & GROUT CLEANING IRELAND
As with all tiles its important to under stand the difference between Porcelain tiles and ceramic tiles and to be able to tell the difference as well on inspection. Although similar in many ways they are different tiles and should be treated as different tiles.
POLISHED PORCELAIN.
Where the tile and grout cleaning company has to be careful is with polished porcelain tiles as in we have to use a slightly less aggressive way to clean these as not to scratch or damage to polished finish in any way. So although our seven point program still exsits for this process, we just use slightly less aggressive brushes and cleaning agents.
SEALING PORCELIAN FLOOR TILE.
In some cases Porcelian floor tile need to be sealed.
We can carry out this process with or range of impregnator sealers that are design to sit just below the surface of the tile protecting it from spills and also making it easier to clean and keep clean.
1: INSPECTION
This is to advise the customer what is needed before tile and grout cleaning start and tell the customer of the expected end result before we start.
2: PREPARATION.
All necessary perpetration is carried out at this stage, ie move heavy furniture and tape up protection for walls and mask of any areas as necessary.
3: APPLY CLEANING AGENT.
Apply selected cleaning agent to the floor area and let it dwell so as to start and break down the dirt and oils on the floor tile and grout joints.
4: SCRUB FLOOR
Depp scrubbing action is preformed with or heavy floor scrub machine at slow speed fitting with an brush as to get down into the grout joints and loosen of all ingrained dirt.
5: CLEAN UP SLURRY
With or clean and capture system we then rinse of the floor and with hot pressurized water that is that will get down even further into the grout and corners of the the room. This will also leave the floor in a near dry state.
6: PERFECT GROUT.
At this point with prior agreement we will begin the the colour sealing process. This can be a lenghly process which involes several steps of its own please see or perfect grout section
7: BUFF
Once we have finished of cleaning process and colour sealing we will finish of your floor and a high speed buffing machine to restore the natural sine to your tiles.

CASE STUDY: CLEANING TILES AND GROUT ARMAGH
Mrs Dickson from Armagh contact us about her newly laid porcelain floor in her kitchen the problem Mrs dickson tild us there seemed to be a layer of scum and some of the grout had not been washed of properly can we fix this problem. After inspection we quickly relised that there was transport wax on the floor and some of the grout had become in bedded in this.
Procedure that we used was to apply a wax and sealent remover mix at a high delution let it dwell on the floor. then scrub with the floor machine and all the transport was plus grout had been removed from the floor once floor was dry we then buffed the floor to the new finish and help advise mre dickson on how to maintain her floor for the future
